ABOUT ME

I went to massage school over 10 years ago and have been doing bodywork ever since. My training includes both Swedish and a Korean form of massage called Amma Therapy.  Amma is a unique style of massage which involves working with various pressure points on the body with the hands and fingers. Swedish massage is a more commonly known method which involves long stroking motions along the muscles.

I am also trained and certified in various forms of ancient healing energy work such as Reiki and Therapeutic Touch, modalities which are now being used in hospitals throughout the world.

Over the years I have extracted what I find most beneficial about each healing method and have created my own unique style which thoughtfully integrates the best elements of each approach.

My long term involvement in wrestling and martial arts has given me a great sense of balance and bodily control that I apply to my bodywork practice.

MY WORKSPACE

I work in a spacious, peaceful and tranquil private studio on a quiet street in the historic district of the West Village.

You will instantly feel relaxed in my studio under the soft light of aromatic candles and soothing nature sounds.

It is important to me that your overall experience is one that invites you to let go and relax completely and inspires you to come back again and again.

WHAT I OFFER

I offer my clients the best of both worlds: bodywork that is both sensual and therapeutic.

I believe that the mind and body are very much connected and that bodywork can help facilitate both physical and emotional healing if we allow it to do so.

I approach each client as the unique individuals they are and tailor each session intuitively based on what I sense and feel is going on in your body. Your direct input also greatly influences the kind of treatment you receive so before the session begins I will ask you what is going on with you so I can best serve you.

Fortunately I have a very high rate of repeat clients because they appreciate quality bodywork by a man who cares about how they feel and knows intuitively how to please them.
