Laurence is personable, competent, and trustworthy; and I could listen to his soothing voice forever. He has an intuitive sense to know where to go and how much pressure to apply and he gives very personal attention. He took good care of me and I knew I was in good hands.
His studio is clean, inviting, and very comfortable; a place to totally relax. I chose the mat session because being massaged on a mat offers plenty of space and an abundant opportunity for two bodies to connect. All my expectations were met.

“Being a former massage therapist I am very picky about who I allow to do repeat sessions. THIS WAS THE BEST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD! Not only did I walk in and was amazed the he looks BETTER in person than he does in his pictures but he is VERY chill. Laurence made me feel comfortable immediately and I almost forgot how beautiful he was because of his talent.
He hands are insanely talented, his voice is soothing and I was in complete bliss. Words can not even describe how lucky you will be to meet with this man. I can not wait for my next session. If he did 4 hour sessions I would be down. I can not begin to tell you how much you need to call this man. Part of me didn't want to write this review because I don't want he to ever be unavailable to me.
Do yourself a favor and make the call. You eyes and body will never be able to thank you enough.”

“I've now been a client of Laurence's for both his table and mat sessions. In both cases he began with a general survey of any trouble areas, and he was friendly and professional in his approach. The table session used both Swedish and trigger-point massage, what felt like acupressure to me, and I particularly appreciated that. Clients who like deeper pressure will appreciate his touch in this area. He had excellent instincts about what force would be right for me. I also got the sense that, because he is also aware of healing modalities, that was also part of his massage. As for the mat massage -- it was creative and uses his full body weight and his own physical conditioning as an athlete. (His photos might suggest his adeptness in this area.) In my experience, he was an incredibly generous masseur. I imagine most clients would feel an appreciation of his therapeutic knowledge of emotional and a wide variety of physical concerns, and be quite satisfied with the experience.”

“I chose a table massage from Laurence because of his broad knowledge of bodywork -- accupressure, reiki, Swedish, sports. I told him of a recent, seemingly-from-nowhere back injury that was debilitating for a few days and that was still giving me a degree of discomfort weeks later. He was most polite and comforting in our pre-interview -- like a doctor hearing and thinking through my symptoms -- and checked in with me several times early on to be sure that I was comfortable with the degree of pressure. He had the craft and the sensibility to find my problems and address them. He can clearly handle a Swedish massage that relaxes and eases muscular tension, but he can also apply the appropriate force at trigger points, a kind of massage I believe has great benefits. I was stunned at how much tension I released. I suspect his reiki training comes into play as well. Laurence came across as kind, fully engaged and knowledgable. Especially recommended for those who appreciate a deeper massage, but he can probably handle anyone's needs. And my back feels much better today.”

“Experience: I've been a massage client of Laurence's for several years and wanted to review his work I've seen approaches him in terms of technique, pressure, intensity of the work, overall mood for the session, and just plain fun. This is not just a bodyrub but a serious deep-tissue massage, although Laurence will adjust the pressure to the clientís request (check his excellent website for details).
My sessions have been his mat version (I have not tried the table yet) and at some points, he covers so much area of my back, shoulders, and legs that it feels like he has four hands moving at the same time and all without losing the pressure. At other times, he uses his whole body to massage with, and lays on top of you to do the deep tissue work. He just sweeps you along and the time flies.
As for Laurence himself, you will not find a more professional, friendly, polite masseur. He is a pleasure to talk with; a very talented man with a lot of interest in art, wrestling, and photography. But he does not talk your ear off when he's quiet, he's obviously concentrating. The photos on his website don't do him justice. Built solid as a tank and perfectly proportioned.
His apartment is very clean and spacious and he always has the mat set up before I arrive. He creates a very relaxing overall mood, and unlike some other masseurs, he doesn't smoke me out with incense. He offers a glass of water before and after, and provides a hot shower and clean towel, even though he very gently wipes off the lotion at the end of the session. He never rushes me out even though he has many other appointments.
Laurence is the best in the business, what a masseur should be. Go see him and find out what a session with a true professional and a very sweet, talented guy is all about.”

“I met with Laurence about a week ago and he was delightful. Very handsome, sexy as heck, personable and genuinely concerned about my physical ailments and massage experience. He did a MAT massage which was as unique as it was outstanding, he would lie on me, back to back or his chest to my back, using waving motions to get my circulation going and digging his hip bones into different areas of my back to apply pressure. He also used his hands with a nice non-greasy cream which he promptly cleaned off of me when finished.”
